HID Global OMNIKEY® 3021

The HID Global OMNIKEY® 3021 offers all the trusted performance of OMNIKEY readers in a new and fancy form factor. This handy USB reader is the ideal choice for large-scale deployments with any type of contact smart card or application software.

 

 

Its high-speed chip set, developed together with ATMEL, provides a transmission speed to the card of up to 420kbps depending on the card. The usage within an application is based on standardized interfaces like PC/SC, OCF (Open Card Framework) or CT-API. The HID Global OMNIKEY® 3021 is easy to distribute in an envelope together with any smart card such as credit cards, e-ID cards or software for other applications. Hence it is ideally suited for a mass rollout of smart cards and related applications. The main advantages of this product:
